Pros / Cons of residential appliances? (fridge mainly)

A good point I've seen others make is about where the fridge is placed. Seems that a lot of the floor layouts are done originally with an RV fridge in mind, and then they offer the option of a residential style later.

From what I've seen, if the residential fridge is directly across from a kitchen island, it would be very difficult to remove it for service, as the aisle was not designed to accommodate that. Disassembly of the island would be required, which could get messy.
