i've had a superglide, but am not familiar with the superrail setup so this is just a thought. Maybe the rails have to be re-installed in the bed exactly the same way they were previously. Holes failing to lineup could be due to the rails being used on opposite side from before or turned end to end differently. Either way, i think the hitch to rail issue is caused by the bed rails not lining up as before.
