I have hydraulic landing gear and it is easy to do a pull test. After you have the first leg raised and the second leg gets off the ground, I stop raising it. I then extend the landing gear and the leg that raised first will come down now. I let it get to the proper distance off the ground and then do pull test.
I have a B&W also, but do a pull test every time. Guess I am not as confident in it as some are.
