Using the 1100 miles that someone quoted, that's the same distance from LA to Casper WY. I do that trip every couple of years or so, and always do it in 2 days. First day from LA to Provo UT, and it is about a 12 hour day. We just overnight boondock, often at the Cabela's store. Second day we will be to camp in Casper by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I tow at 65MPH maximum.
Used to do the same trip, but the speed limit was 55MPH. Still did it in two easy days, but not towing an RV.
No need to drive all night. Have done that too, but too old and wise to do that these days.
