I have the PR SG also - but have *NO* reason to "think" about anything else - "seriously" or otherwise.

Had it since 2005, it does everything it's supposed to, works great, no problems!..:C

IMO - that statement probably applies to 99% of the owners of either brand.
Sooooo - unless you can find those "one percenters", suggest you do a search on each brand and see what the owners have to say about their respective hitches..;)

I have it because it was on my truck (Long-bed) when I bought it.
I'm also an engineer, and for a long-bed, the superglide is needlessly complex.
The more complex any device is the more likely it is to fail and the more maintenance is required to prevent that.
For a short-bed, it works very well. I suspect that I would prefer the SuperGlide to a manual glide.
