GY cheated me many years ago when I was very young and could least afford it. I was young and stupid and let them get away with it but I figure that it has cost them many thousands in the long run.
I waited more than 35 years before going there again. I stopped in because I had a screw in a tire and it was very handy. They told me the screw was in a place that made it "unsafe" to repair. They went on to tell me I needed four new tires. I didn't believe them.
Stopped by another, bigger tire dealer in the area and showed them my screw. They explained the exact criteria for when they can and cannot do a repair. The screw was, according to them, well within a prescribed safe area to do the fix. I drove it that way two more years before replacing all four.
So I have zero trust in GY but I have the new Endurance tires on my TT and they are performing well.
Just don't think I will be able to bring myself to go back to GY.
