Service department techs are supposed to do the PDI before the customer arrives to take delivery. At delivery you do a 'walk thru'.
Very true. But unfortunately that's not reality. Of course I bought from a large volume dealer so they rushed it. A smaller volume dealer might have taken more care to fix things. Although my buddy bought from the local dealer last year and his first trip his list was similar to mine, on a 90k toy hauler. He was still getting things like a brake light fixed this summer.
This is example of what I saw during my walkthrough that they missed. This was fixed.
