Question 4 those with Auto Leveling System

Folks,
We are purchasing a new 5ver that has 6 point auto-leveling system. When this system is deployed how stable is the trailer? Is most of the shaking (in all directions) taken out? Would I still need something like JT strong arms or something similar?

Thanks,
Mike
  • I have the 6 point hydrolytic on this 5W and it is noticeably more stable than my old electric 4 point. After having the auto 6 point I would never go back to 4 manual. Hit auto level and sit back till it quits moving, love it.
  • The jacks help obviously. You can walk into some units with just the landing gear down and they barely move even if you try to get them to sway. Others can have 6 fully deployed and they still roll just by sitting on the chair a little hard.

As others have mentioned it is a frame / construction that will determine how rigid the RV feels. Jacks will help but they aren't going to get rid of frame flexing completely if you bought a limp noodle.
