Folks,We are purchasing a new 5ver that has 6 point auto-leveling system. When this system is deployed how stable is the trailer? Is most of the shaking (in all directions) taken out? Would I still need something like JT strong arms or something similar?Thanks,Mike

Ours has the 6 pt level up and does have some movement, but nothing we can't live with. Buddy of mine had a CC w/ the 6 pt as well and he added JT's to it. He sold the CC last year and got a MH. Our old coach (also a CC) orig didn't have the 6 pt and had a fair amount of wiggle. Added JT's to it a couple years before selling it.......what a difference.

I have a 4 point system and there is very little movement BUT then again it is just me, my wife and three cocker spaniels. I could see if you have children running around and doing kid stuff where you could get more movement.I would suggest that you try the unit out first and see how it works before adding JT's or other equipment. You might be surprised how stable it is and save some money that could be used for more trips!Good luck and enjoy your new RV!Dave

I added these and mine is VERY solid . My front rams have an outer tube that allows some side to side movement. That style not sold any longer. By decreasing the distance they deploy it made for a very stable RV.

I have 4 x 8 wooden blocks with eye bolts in one end to put between the ground an the levelers when needed ... I have to say that I do not use them very often because my lCI leveling system is pretty solid most of the time with very little movement ...

Auto leveling is not auto sttabilty. They are 2 different functions/requirements.If you want stability yes you will need JT's. My rig came factory equipped with both JT's and auto leveling.
