Again, I'd still want to know some of my trucks ratings, if you go with a 20,000# 5er, that is a pretty heavy 5er, even for a 1 ton dually.....
2 axle on all of them. Most of the ones we are serious about are in the 16-17,000 gvwr range.
In the 16,000 to 17,000# range, you're probably looking at a pin weight of 3200-3400# or so.
The reason I had stated that some state parks might not be able to accomodate you was because you stated that one of the 5er's you were looking at was 43' long...
I don't think you'll have a problem with that weight and again, once you've towed a longer 5er it'll get easier to handle
