Your stereo has both a Y video input as well as a Y video output connection. Is it possible the TV is connected to the input rather than the output?
We have the Legend tv... I was hoping the component/AV means what it says... The manual is really not very specific. That is not the way I would have written the manual...
I see where people work on their own issues. Can that void a warranty? We are 50 miles away...
