I have the steel Andersen 3200 which attaches to rails. I already had the Reese picture frame puck to rail adapter for my previous Reese 16K. The Andersen's lowest setting is about 2" higher than the Reese, so I did go from level to a little nose high, but not enough to hurt. I hooked up for the first time this weekend 3 times to move onto an Andersen Rapid Jack for suspension work and found it much easier to use than the old 16K. If I were starting from scratch, I would get the goose ball and Andersen 3220 gooseneck mount. The 2" height of the Reese puck to rail adapter put's it about 1.5" higher than bed rails.
