Ram 3500 vs 3500 dully four wheel.

I WILL BE Travelling THE USA AS A FULL TIMER AND WILL BE BUYING A NEW RAM 3500 DIESEL. DON’T WANT A DULLY. TOLD THAT THE NEW 3500 NON DULLY WILL BE ALL I WILL NEED AND WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THE TOWING AND
PERFORMANCE ABILITY.
NEED FEED BACK PRO AND CON.

Stability with the DRW and maneuverability with the SRW. The RAM 3500 SRW has a payload cap I believe just a tad north of 4k pounds while the DWR is in the 7k range somewhere. If you are full timing the decision might lie with then FW that you choose.
. Take care when basing your decision on these ratings. These are for a bare/no options truck. A Ram with all options could easily reduce these payload ratings up to 1000 lbs...
  • What RV will you be pulling? Answer that and you will get a better answer.

I have been driving a 3500 Dually for almost 3 years. It's a great towing rig would not go back to a SRW.
  • It will depend on the hitch weight of the fiver. I opted for a smaller fiver so that I could run with a SRW.

If it were me dually for sure!
You would learn to deal with the size.
  • Dually or Single....all has to do with what you are going to hook to it.
i.e. weight of trailer. It's all about payload.
