Hey, folks.
I worked a bit more on my ramp door patio project today. I finished applying bed-liner to the railings; and installed and adjusted the setup position locks. I took measurements for the screen material to be hemmed to fit onto the railings. I already have the screen material. I'm hoping I can get a local upholstery shop to sew them.
Below is the locking assembly I made to lock the railing into the set-up position.

The assembly is held in place with 2 thumbscrews that got through the door, into barrel nuts.
Below is the locking assembly in place. It's hard to see in the photo, but the 2 locking mechanisms are held together by the black 2" plate-bar.

Here, the railing is locked into place. I'll make a foot operated pedal to unlock it. The pedal will be attached to the small "L" shaped lever at the lower left of the locking mechanism. These locks are aftermarket automotive door locks.

Except for the gate and steps, it's in the assembled position.

I'll work on an access door later. We're leaving for a 5 day camping trip this Thursday, so I have to begin loading the trailer tomorrow.
Here's a shot from the opposite side.

Another look at the adjustable door jacks.

I quit working on this for now. We'll be camping for the next two weekends, so I'll continue on this project after Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanks for looking.
