Ramp door repairs
Been a while since I have posted anything here. We have a 2008 Fuzion 373 with garage floor rot issues and ramp door issues. The floor is somewhat of a no brainer, meaning just work and materials.
The ramp door is going to be more of a challenge. The door was made by Nappanee window which from what I can find is out of business. The issue is water intrusion around hinges that has caused weakness and delamination of the fiberglass skin.
What I am trying to find out is how these things were originally constructed. What's inside so to speak. It appears the aluminum extrusions for the perimeter have bolts on the bottom and then maybe a connecting rod 3/4 of the way to the top/end.
Any info or pix would be appreciated. Any brand as well. I have a marine outfit who works on my boat that will reconstruct stronger than original but we need some insight before tearing my door apart.
