every tire place I called tried selling me what they had in stock, when I asked about the maxxis, first thing they told me was "you know how much those are right?" they would then try and sell me their stocked brand again:M at a "much better price":R.
theres not much profit for manufactures to install them stock other then the discount they receive from buying in bulk. Or for a tire dealer when their competing with each other for better prices. JMHO
