Our county code restricts parking the big vehicles in residential areas. And predicting human behavior I have been very careful not to raise the ire of my neighbors. I know they are the only ones who will report me. I never park the RV at my house for more than a few hours while I load. And I unload within 20 minutes and am gone with the RV. All the cleaning, organizing, maintenance, and other work is done at the storage facility. It is common to see other customers doing work there also. Sometimes I plan to do certain work at the campsite during a trip. I may not get away with this forever but so far my neighbors have not felt bothered. Unfortunately you have pushed your neighbors over their limit. If the legalities of the matter go against you, perhaps you could negotiate a shorter "parking" routine that would placate them.
