I am firmly in the MOVE camp.
Even if you win the argument with the HOA, they will find something else to argue about sooner or later.
When we were house hunting several years ago, we turned down a very nice house because the CCRs stated we could not have a 1 ton truck parked in the development.
We found a very nice place, just shy of 2 acres, no HOA, minimal CCRs, nice neighbors, and we have been quite happy for the last ten years or so.
Sell your place as soon as possible (preferably to someone who will annoy the HOA a LOT) and find a place where you can live in peace.
Dealing with the hassle just isn't worth it, IMO.
