Only way I could do this at the storage facility would be to pull it out of the bay and open it up -- which would completely blocks others in the storage facility. I have coverd storage (3 walls and a ceiling) with only about 18" on each side if I'm centered in my bay -- not enough to open the slides.
There are only two real outcomes here -- the HOA and I come to some reasonble agreement that I need to adhere to -- or I sell the camper. I may have to go through this again with the next HOA president...but if I can work it out with this one, I'll cross that other bridge when the time comes. I'd sell the camper before I move. Girls are 9 and 11 and it's not worth uprooting them from their schools and friends because of the camper issues. We'll have less time over the coming years to use it anywhere with their busy schedules. But now we're getting philosophical -- and I was trying to keep the discussion to what others have experienced -- so I will try not to digress. :)
