When we lived on three acres surrounded by trees in Washington State, we enjoyed having our fiver parked next to our garage.
Two years ago we moved to an Arizona community that has CC&R's. We're allowed to park the RV on the street for 2 days to load and 2 days to unload. The fiver is now kept in storage when not in use. Yes, we miss having the RV close so we can work on it, but don't miss having to care for three acres of grass, trees and blackberry bushes. CC&R's have their advantages and disadvantages - you have to take the good with the not-so-good. However, we knew what we were getting into when we signed the house purchase documents.
