Why not plan some of these things on a camping trip where you may have cement pad to work on and electricity to use. That's what I do. My 5er sits on a gravel driveway across the road from my house. I have the luxury of doing whatever I want when ever I want (living in the country) but when it comes to crawling around on the ground to work on something I will plan for that while we are camping on a cement pad. I have never in my life been on a single camping trip where I didn't find myself bored for a short period of time. These thing keep me busy in those times rather than sitting in front of the TV watching a movie.
