IN 2007 we bought a 2002 Cedar Creek. We were going to live in it one year before fulltiming. Started in January 2009. COLD COLD COLD. Could feel wind whipping in the slides. In February 2009 bought a 2009 Montana. Much warmer.
We had no real issues with the unit but last August traded up in a 2014 Cedar Creek. We like the rig more except like the previous CC, not as airtight. Not around the slides, but the windows.
Reasons for the trade up was after 4 years living with an RV fridge we wanted a residential fridge with ice maker. Also the Montana bedroom closet was very narrow. The CC has a walk in closet. Best of all - this unit is self leveling.
About the tires - had many blow outs with the cheap tires but on the Montana. We upgraded to G rate Hankooks. When we traded the Montana for the CC the new tires on the CC came off and put on our trade in and we kept our Hankooks.
