Adding generator to Fifth Wheel
We are wanting to add a generator to our fifth wheel and want to know if it has to be put in a basket or something on the outside/back of the fifth wheel or can it be put in the basement while in use....

Thank y'all for the replies. Where ever we put it will be where it has to stay because I don't think we can lift one of the generators we have looked at. I'm hoping to get a good one that's quite for around $2ooo. or less. The ones they have at Sams and Costco are rated at about 78 decibels and I've been told that would be too loud. I like the idea of putting it in the front compartment if that would be a safe place to use it. My husband says he thinks it would have to be vented and wasn't sure it could be put in there. Again Thank's to all of y'all. It's nice to have so many experienced campers that will share their knowledge.
