We are planning to purchase our first RV tomorrow! I think we'll get the Crossroads Cruiser 305sk. What should we expect tomorrow? It comes with a 2 + 5 warranty but I assume they'll try to sell us...

What is the value/purpose in the slide awnings? To help with heat in the slides or so that the leaves are easier to deal with?
As for the fireplace it seemed logical to have some electric heat instead of using as much gas, plus the ambiance of the fireplace. We will still have a campfire most nights!
