Driving down the road at about 65mph. Guy in front of me swerves to miss something in the road. I had traffic on both sides of me so I ran over a rail road tie-sized piece of timber laying across my lane. After the rear axle, hitch and pin went up and then down, the rails were bent up, the horizontal safety pins were U-shaped and the hitch was a bit squashed. 5-er spent some time at the shop, but no significant damage was found.Damned lucky everything stayed together and no one was hurt.
