Re: Landing gear failure

lol don't really mean to laugh but the same thing happened to us last March when we were packing up to leave the C/G. broke the shear pin on the left front landing gear. Managed to get the 5'er loaded and home. Called Lippert Components, Ordered a "New leg" $ 175.00 and had a local repair shop replace for $ 150.00, took them about 2 hrs. Watched them do the repair and the next time, if there is a next time will do myself. The difficult thing like you found out is getting it up high enough to replace it. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!
