Every graduated level I've seen offered for RV's, the graduations are 1 inch per 8 feet. Which is perfect for side to side, because the trailers are 8 feet wide. Or 8.5 on the wide bodies, but the difference isn't enough to matter.
Here's the math. On the front to rear, it's still 1 inch per 8 feet. So if you've got a 32' trailer, it is 4 inches of leg travel per level graduation. More like 3.5 inches, because you can subtract the overhang area forward of the landing gear from your 32'.cartdog wrote:

Why does size matter? A level is a level. Unless you are trying to see it from the drivers seat. Which I don't do, but I know some folks do.
A light just went on for me from this post. That makes a lot of sense and explains a lot as to why that level doesn't mesh with the distance the nose is traveling.
