2012 Ram 2500 CTD CC LB 3.73, 9600lb GVW. 2013 Fox Mountain 235RLS 5'er. Weighs 9000lbs loaded with fresh tank full (54 gal).
17-1800lb pin. Rams payload 2176lbs. Last trip to the scales truck was IIRC 9200lbs. The truck pulls it with ease. Could I go heavier? Sure using the trucks RAWR. But this was the 5'er we want as it fits our needs better. 5 yrs down the road maybe we'll get something bigger. I don't have a problem going heavier and using the RAWR of 6000lbs. As it sits now the 5'er and truck are a perfect match IMO. I run in 6th and 5th, very rarely do I see 4th gear. Average 11+ towing.
