Rear bay window -- Coolaroo sun screen

I bought a roll of sun screen "Coolaroo" from home depot. I put it on outside of the rear bay window for temporary. It says will cut 70% sun. But my wife said she didnt think it helps. Any advise would be greatly appreciate it. Any problem with Coolaroo sun screen?

    Obtain a IR temp gun, shoot window without screen, install screen, shoot window with screen, report back.

    We used a roll up sun shade we got from Camping World....worked great and cut heat dramatically.

    Get something to measure the temperature inside the window is the way to confirm what it is doing for you.

    I came from the solar screen business and think you'll find they work.

    I had a window that caught afternoon sun. I put LowE film on it and it worked great. But I put it on the inside. You might try your Coolaroo on the inside and see if that makes a difference.
