Rear electric jacks 2011 Montana 3150RL

I just purchased a preowned 2011 Montana 3150RL. It has the moving to Montana package. It has the rear electric jacks but the only switch I can find to let them down is at the front control box where the front jack controls are.

Is there any other place toward the rear to let them down so you can see when they are coming down?

I was told it may or may not have come with a remote but there was no remote in the trailer when I purchased it.

If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.
  • I just run ours down from the switch in the front. It helps that the boys grab the blocks and line them up as they come down. Once they are both in contact you can hear the motor pull down when they are set.
  • When we still had our 2011 Montana there was only the one switch up front, of course you could use the remote if you have one. I never did though, it was just as easy to run 'em down from the front.

  • Our 2011 Mountaineer has only the switch up front and the remote. I use the remote as I put the rear stabilizers on 6X6 blocks.
  • Most likely had a remote.I use the front switch, the only one on the trailer and listen to the motor to tell if I am down. Also can see as I do not extend the sides until I am set.remote is a pain to use but worth the effort to find one.I have a 3400rl-2011.
