We had a rear kitchen fifth wheel. It was a shorter unit (28')so a rear kitchen worked really well for us in regards to space. There is typically more cabinet room in a rear kitchen. We heard the rumors about things bouncing around when we purchased it. However, in 4 years we only had one problem an dit was on a very rough stretch of road where we did have our coffee pot break. We now have a rear living room because having the big rear windows suits our camping style better, typically nice view of the woods. Get whatever floorplan best suits your current needs as you are the one who has to be happy in it.
