You have all the answers you could possibly want. It boils down to two preferences: a large kitchen or a wonderful view. After fulll-timing with a rear living, we went to a rear-kitchen trailer. Now just sold it for a rear living area. We love the chairs and the large window. We look for sites where we can back up and enjoy the view. Cooking is secondary when camping; it's all about the scenery. All up to what you want.
A little late for comments in this process, but we actually have both in ours: a large rear kitchen and a very large rear window, which is actually a triple across the rear cap. We have a great view out those windows which makes dish washing a little more pleasant. Another plus is our tv is mounted mid-coach at an angle and on a swivel mount so we can situate it for best viewing. No point to this other than there are exceptions to the rear kitchen models, even though I bet not many.
