On our second RK, the first one similar to the floor plan Ragflo shared. Never had an issue with the fridge being blocked. Our current one is an Arctic Fox 27-5L, a bit shorter, roomier inside, fridge on the side wall (nice to leave wide open when in storage) but the pantry is blocked with the slide in.
We went from a rear living to rear kitchen due to the limited kitchen space and storage in the rear living. The truth is look at many and find the floor plan best to fit your needs. I have found a perspective floor plan yet, but the one we have now is close.
