We choose a rear kitchen because of the increased counter space not available on the shorter 5'ers (Ours is 29'). The mid-kitchens were cramped and lacked the wall to wall counter space we wanted.
If looking at 35'+ 5'ers this may not be as much of an issue. Still, we prefer the separation between the kitchen and living room with a rear kitchen.
