Ours doesn't have shocks and we've never had any trouble with items moving in the rear cabinets. We do put non-slip liners on the bottom of the cabinets and also place sheets between stacks of plates etc.
Our 5'er does have the Lippert Equa-Flex rubber supports. Don't know how much those help.
