If you camp in places where most RVs are side by side then a RL would be better. If you camp where you can have a pull thru or are not side by side them an RK would be nice. With a pull thru and an RK you have a nice view of your camp site.
I think it really depends on where you camp, and what you want as far as views.
We've stayed in RV parks a couple times where the RVs are back to back. So much for an RL view.
JMO but the interior layout should be preferential since the view can always be different.
