On the slide topper, none are perfect, I have had three, two Dometics and the Carefree that came on the our 27-5L. The Carefree is the worst of the three. They all pool water, but the Carefree is the worst at flapping in small winds. I brought the issue up when new and on warranty, was told there is no adjustment that could be made.

The two best hitches I have had is a Pullrite Superglide (when I had a shortbox) and the B&W Companion I have now. Made in American and a simple hitch to use.
