Fill your fresh water tank full.
Load up the 5'vr
Hook up and GO!
That frontal area on that 5'vr has more effect on mpg than the overall weight.
And if you are going to the high country I take it (assume...yikes!) that water is not available where you are going???
If it is......put 1/3 tank for travel
Otherwise fill it.
Unless your TV is not up to the task of towing 5'vr at GVWR it really won't matter.
But IF........time how long it takes to fill 5 gallon jug.
