"A small 1” crack with a little rust was on the left (as you face the front of the RV) side of the wingbox on the front Box Beam (prior damage from somewhere/sometime), and on the right side of the wingbox a shiny new crack was almost all the way through the box beam and it was twisted upwards several inches raising the front closet floor and twisting the wing set."
This statement from the first post indicates to me that problems had started prior to the pothole hit because of the rust. Must be after adding the goose adapter.
Then he goes on to talk about things being twisted. Sounds to me like the added leverage from the adapter is bending things.
With regard to the post about welding the nut. Even though the nut does not turn the force or to be more accurate torque is still there. It is just not enough to break the nut loose. This is what you want in a frame. You want it to withstand the forces on it without breaking.
