As far as the Reese hitch you will hear a lot of negative, and again it will probably be mostly from the B&W fan club. Most of the negative has been from one in particular, he arrives at these opinions from his campground surveys, not from owning one.
Now back on topic ,I have owned nothing but Reese hitches for several years with zero issues. Easy to hitch, and unhitch . Single wrap around 1" thick jaw. Its the 18K Signature, same head as the Elite. Previous hitch was the Reese Pro Series, again no issues, just needed to go to a higher rated hitch. Good luck with your choice
