My Reese Select 20K hitch rails were mounted to the frames of my 07.5 Chevy Dually, My 2010 and 2012 Ram Dually's with 4 brackets, then the rails bolted to the brackets through the bed...I don't remember any bolts in the center...two bolts for each bracket , so 8 bolts is what held mine down, towing a 5er loaded now to almost 15,900#...
OOPS...hey, mine had been on three trucks, one Chevy and two Dodges, mounted with 8 total bolts to 4 brackets...never had an issue, towed all through the mountains of WV, TN, NC, SC and VA...now hooked to my 5er "picture frame adapter from Mopar...which is also only affixed to the four puck holes built into the frame of the truck...
