I live "just outside" the Asheville NC city limits...beautiful country....easy access to I40 and I26 and mountains, mountains and more mountains....Also, "Business is booming" around here right now.....
We camp in the mountains of SC, takes about 2 hrs to get to Lake Keowee area close to Seneca and Clemson....takes about the same amount of time (while towing), to get into the Sevierville, Knoxville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas also...Same with Cherokee and Maggie Valley...all in the mountains, great fishing and it is a great area to live in. Also within couple hours drive to Bristol Va (Bristol Speedway).....just a few places I could think of...
you also have "The Biltmore House" in Asheville along with lot's of shops that people love to spend time in as well as "The Farmers Market" just off I40 in Asheville....ALWAY'S something to do....
