Relocating
From NJ. Thinking of relocating in a year or two. Any ideas in the eastern tenn west sc west nc. Any suggestions would help.

You might want to consider the "Tri-cities" area of NE Tennessee. About an hour north of Gatlinburg, Asheville. You are about 3 1/2 hrs north of Atlanta, hour from Knoxville.
The tri includes Kingsport, TN, Johnson City, TN and Bristol, TN/and VA. The cost of living is greatly decreased in these areas.
Much nicer, lower cost of living, and much better health care access in other areas of the country than asheville nc. I am a texan and have lived in eastern and western nc.
