From NJ. Thinking of relocating in a year or two. Any ideas in the eastern tenn west sc west nc. Any suggestions would help.

My son lives in Boone, NC They are so high up in the mountains that they don't need A/C in the summer. The older I get the more I like weather like that.
The town is on the small side, but ASU is there and it is growing. My son likes it very much.
