Removable Pin Box?

Hey folks,

Just got a new 5er and while it will fit in our parking area, it would fit much nicer if I could remove the extended pin box when not in use. I know it is bolted on, but are there any pins that can be used like the pin in a hitch receiver to make this easier to do?

Listen to Waterbug, he is right, you don't want to be messing with your pin-box, as I have Trailair pinbox (fantastic rig) and not the original pin-box I re-torque all my bolts every spring along with my annual once over just to be sure.
  • Don't the sidewinder pin boxes move the pivot point behind the hitch negating the point of having a 5th wheel?
  • New nuts and bolts every time. The threads actually stretch when torqued correctly.
