I installed a residential fridge and just spray foamed the inside of the vent to prevent air flow. Fridge removal (I had a 4 door Norcold 1210) was easy. Fridge was not heavy and removed by myself alone. I did get a helper to haul it out my door (was awkward) but its less than 24" deep so it cleared my door with space on either side.
Yes ^^ Absent a kitchen counter that juts out into the doorway area, you should no problem getting the old one out.
