Removing Slideout Window to Install Window A\C ?

On my old TT I used a smaller 5000 btu in the emergency window. I made the cut out of corrugated plastic. I had a shelf for the a/c. Best thing I ever did.

I tried it on my current TT using the emergency window but on a slideout. It didn't work well. Vibrated the whole slideout and made a ton of noise.

You may want to try it out first before going to a permanent install.
