Replace All Calking

If it's not broken why fix it? You may have more problems after they try and fix something thats not broken of leaking.

In AB as well. Had roof only caulking removed and replaced at Lazydays in Florida last winter. (rig was 4 years old) Lots of others getting the same service when I did. Price was just over $1000. I took their word on it, that it needed doing. Old caulk looked like ****....they did a nice job. Might have been unnecessary but for me the peace of mind of following an rv tech recommendation was worth it.

Had some serious leaks in my slide and replaced caulk in all the seams. No leaks now.

I've never heard of it and in my mind removing and attempting to replace all of the caulking opens up the potential for causing more problems then it's intended to fix. Inspect and repair where needed.

I check my rigs out once a year. Clean and replace or go over caulking as necessary. That's about it.

Replacing caulking is a new one on me. Beware of any future items that your dealer decides that you "need".

Sounds like the dealer needs to make a payment on his new boat! If in fact the caulking needs to be replaced would be because the "dealer service department" has not done their job for the last 8 years! IMHO, you might try to find another service company for your maintenance.

first time in all these years I ever read about replacing all the clauking, think your dealer is a out to make a big profit. take it to a glass repair shop and pay them for a inspection.

"They" is the dealer service department.

Who is they?
As long as it has been inspected and cauked as necessary I see no reason for that. Except maybe a huge profit center for who told you that.
