I had a blowout on a Sailun on our 5th. I replaced with Herculles. So far great.
I have Carlisle on a dual axle boat trailer and 2 utility trailers no issues. Had the Carlisles on a Montana 5th wheel no issues.
Was it China or Vietnam made? - TxGearheadExplorer III had a blowout on a Sailun on our 5th. I replaced with Herculles. So far great.

OK HERE'S THE SPECS ON THE TRAILER.. THANKS FOR EVERYONES HELP BY THE WAY. MY FIRST 5ER.
STICKER SAYS:
GVWR 15,500 LBS
GAWR EACH AXLE 7,000 LBS - Michelle_SExplorer IIIThere have been a few on the Montana Forum, and I just encountered a loss of the inner third of tread on a 2 year old Sailun made in China, tire never lost air so we had no idea it happened until several days later. Needless to say, I'll be keeping a much closer watch on the other tires.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIISeveral posters on the Grand Design forum have described tread separation with their Sailun tires purchased earlier this year and manufactured in Vietnam.

Sailuns are apparently bad now from Vietnam, at least this batch.
Since I just put four Sailuns from Vietnam on my rig, can you give me a specific referral as to where you got this info?
Thanks. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIThe 255/85R16 rim width spec is 6.5-8". The 235/85R16 has 3,640# @ 80psi rating with a rim size 6-7.5".
So the GY ENDURANCE is a real choice for heavier 5er's. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIThere is another that has a big rating that may use narrower rim.

What do your LOADED axles weigh?
Hinting around about those Endurance tires of yours are you ??? :B Being that he has OE F rated tires I wouldn’t even be thinking about Goodyear Endurance on his fifth wheel .
OP needs to shop around , and get a set of Sailuns made in China , probably smart to stay away from Vietnam until it gets figured out . But doubtful even the Vietnam made are going to be a big issue .
NOPE, If he knows his weights he may have other options.
Seems like an odd load range, never hear of it on an OE RV.
Since you brought it up he sure could go with the ENDURANCE 255/85R16 in load range "E" with 4,080# capacity. I am betting he has WAYYYYY less weight on each tire!
Let's say his tire weight is 3,500#, PLEASE tell us all WHY he couldn't run the US Made ENDURANCE I list???
I took a look at the specs on the Endurance ,calls for a 7" rim, most likely he is running 6" , that leaves out those size Endurance ,unless you think he should run them on an undersized rim ? Otherwise ,maybe you have other suggestions for a tire for him . - cummins2014Explorer

If that tire size will fit his rims . Have never looked at the specs for that size Endurance.
Yes some of the Montana High Country's have come OE F rated , from what I have read on the Montana forum .
