We have a 36 foot Montana Mountaineer and removed the heavy sofa bed and 2 heavy recliners and table. We bought a good quality residential sofa to match the decor.Took awhile to find a sofa to fit/fill the entire rear area due to rear slide clearances. The wife got a new Lazy Boy recliner.
Had to remove the sofa legs and stand it on end as we worked it through the door (tight fit) to keep from hitting the frig. The sofa is plenty long enough for me to stretch out or sleep on.With a cover on the sofa 2 full size Collies can sleep & dream quite well with room to spare.
Other improvements were replacing the bedroom queen mattress with a residential pillow top queen firm mattress, also turned the dining table longways and removed 2 of the 4 dining chairs for more room.I replaced the desk chair with one of my old wooden office chairs which rocks and swivels.
